Zoom meetings during pandemic

Zoom meetings are becoming an effective way of working together during the pandemic. This one is Historical League Finance/Operations chaired by president elect Claire Nullmeyer. Great to see enthusiastic participation.

Featured in Scottsdale Progress

Scottsdale Progress featured Tastes & Treasures II book, Historical League and Arizona Heritage Center with a lovely article in today's issue, June 7, 2020.
Thanks to Carolyn Hartman for a great job on publicity!

Corrections: The Historical League is celebrating its 40th Anniversary NOT the Heritage Center.
The title is Tastes & Treasures NOT Taste & Treasures.
Amazon sells it for $30 NOT $35.

Featured in Tastes & Treasures II: A Storytelling Cookbook of Historic Arizona, we are pleased to see Rock Springs Cafe opening up. Great pies, great food. Some delicious recipes and fascinating history from Rock Springs can be found in Tastes & Treasures. www.HistoricalLeague.org/shop.aspx

Historical League June meeting via Zoom

Very involved, dedicated members attend the Historical League June meeting via Zoom, taking notes, getting involved. Over 30 attended our last meeting of the year but many will continue to volunteer over the summer working on events for fall.

June 2020 Historical League virtual meeting

Another successful Historical League meeting via Zoom thanks to president Susan Dale. Looks like over 30 attended. Happy to get a report from museum director Tawn Downs stating the Arizona Heritage Center will open to members June 13 and open to public June 16. Advanced tickets online.
