Blast from the Past

A blast from the past . . . Now that Tastes & Treasures II is published and selling well, it is fun to look back at September 2015.

Little did we know that Cathy Shumard would join us in co-chairing this project. She is a wonderful addition.

Stockyards featured in Tastes & Treasures II

Cathy Shumard, Ruth McLeod, Nina Filippi and Mary Garbaciak are
surrounded by photos and stories of Barry Goldwater
After meetings at the AZ Heritage Center, where to go for lunch??? STOCKYARDS. So close and such delicious foods. PLUS the history is amazing.

The history is the reason they were featured in Tastes & Treasures II and the stories are amazing. If you can't go there, you can read the history.  $30

Waiter Mark Wilson explains the connection
