Tastes & Treasures II: A Storytelling Cookbook of Historic Arizona published by the Historical League, Inc. 2018
Volume I 2007 Regional winner of the Tabasco Community Cookbook award
Organized in 1979, the Historical League, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is a fundraising arm of the AZ Heritage Center at Papago Park(formerly Arizona Historical Society Museum),
a Smithsonian affiliate, at 1300 N. College Ave, Tempe, Arizona, 85288.
Tastes & Treasures II does more than promote AZ history and foods. After meeting with Raul Sanchez at Lon's (pages 76-81 in Tastes & Treasures II), we partnered with St Jude's for their silent auction. They now have signed books of both volumes of Tastes & Treasures. Raul is a manager at Lon's, helping promote the resort and our book which features Lon's on the front cover. Non-profits helping non-profits, working towards a good cause. https://www.stjude.org/get-involved/find-an-event/dinners-and-galas/raise-a-glass.html
