Mary Parker did a fabulous job last year of getting wonderful wines for the Historical League Phoenix Theatre matinee. Can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve . . . or in her basket for Saturday, Dec 5 The Wizard of Oz festivities.

There is also children's toy and entertainment raffles, no-host bar, complimentary light refreshments. Lots of fun and excitement for the whole family.

Children and adults enjoy Mary Poppins Fundraiser

 The Phoenix Theatre was crowded with Historical League members and guests for Saturday, Dec 6 matinee. Lots of great raffle items lured the attendees to drop in their tickets along with delightful appetizers, cookies and treats to munch on. After the performance, the crew came out to meet their fans.
Thanks to Ann Lupica for organizing such a fantastic fundraiser. Non-profits working together created a wonderful event for the Historical League.

Congratulations to Kay Holcombe winning the Audi motorized children's car. Her granddaughter Sarah is anxious to drive it with friend Emma waiting for her turn too. Grandpa Rex will supervise the drivers.

Childrens Holiday Party at Desert Ridge Marriot

Raffle prizes, silent auction, entertainment, delicious lunch, boutique shopping, clowns, Mr and Mrs Santa . . . what could be more fun than a day filled with this? The Children’s Holiday Party is an opportunity to create wonderful memories for families at the winter holiday time, while providing the Arizona Historical Society Museum with funding for programs for the children of Arizona.

The party will be held on Saturday, Dec 4, 2010 at JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort and Spa’s Grand Ballroom.
