Who has ridden a Boneshaker bicycle? Dave McElligot gift shop and event manager at Superstition Mt. Museum shows off the "Boneshaker" (bone-shaker). The term from 1869 refers to the first type of true bicycle with pedals. Boneshaker had an extremely uncomfortable ride, which was caused by the stiff wrought-iron frame and wooden wheels surrounded by tyres made of iron.

Superstition Mountain Museum in Apache Junction carries Tastes & Treasures II
Grateful to Norma Hinton for taking Tastes & Treasures II: A Storytelling Cookbook of Historic Arizona to Superstition Mt. Museum in Apache Junction. A potential customer admired the book while Norma was showing it to gift shop co-ordinator, Dave McElligott. Nothing like selling a book in the first hour. Available at Superstition Mt Museum or HistoricalLeague.org/shop.aspx
