Flashback to 1915 Friday!
The old plank road circa 1915 that allowed automobiles to traverse the Algodones sand dunes in Imperial County, CA connecting Yuma to San Diego. This photo shows a Studebaker on the first plank road carrying passengers to Holtville, CA from Yuma.
