With the AHS State Convention in Tempe, April 25-27, Norma Jean Coulter has been finding appropriate books for one of the raffle baskets. Tastes & Treasures II and The Journal of Sedona Schnebly are two of the items.
Ramsey Canyon tour with 40 from the Historical League - fascinating.
Deer, Hawk's nest, hummingbirds, towering Cottonwood and Sycamore trees.
Around 120 settlers lived there in 1890's looking for silver and
planted apple, plum, apricot trees along with vinca flowres. Mr Ramsey
started a toll road. Another developer had a dance hall over the creek
bed in the 1920's where the Fort Huachuca band played.
Master Navajo weavers can create amazing works of art. Our Historical League tour brought us to the Steve Getzwiller home and Nizhoni Ranch Gallery in Sonoita. It is filled with historic, traditional and new weavings dating from 1910-2017.![]() |
