This fabulous 1929 estate features a chapel on the second floor that was used for weddings. Having the Historical League Spring Party on the grounds was a special time especially since we received personal tours of the home.

Rancho Joaquina featured in National Trust for Historic Homes

Restoring historic Rancho Joaquina in Phoenix has been a labor or love for Marc and Karen Goldblatt, who purchased the National Register-listed home in "horrible condition."

We are grateful to Margaret Baker for arranging to have the Historical League Fall Open House at this beautifully restored historic home.

It's interesting to note that this amazing home and photos of our event were featured at

Spring Party a Big Success

Thanks to Betsy Davis and Leslie Christiansen who did a tremendous job organizing the Spring Party at this remarkable home at Phoenix Country Club. (Thanks to Anne Lupica for making the 1929 home available to the Historical League). It was a fun and fascinating evening for all who attended. Private tours of the home were a highlight as well as the fabulous food.

Betsy Davis and Leslie Christiansen share a laughter-filled moment.
