Arizona Inn reorders Tastes & Treasures II
An email from Emma at the Gift Shop in Arizona Inn said, "Are we able to order another box of 10 of the Tastes & Treasures II books? The first batch sold so well when we received them!"
Then she changed her mind, "2 boxes would be wonderful! The Gift Shop is trying to be prepared for the busy season coming up."
We love to hear it!! Linda Corderman personally delivered the books to her.

2Minit2Winit event
It was fun, fabulous, and we found new sales potentials at 2Minit2Winit, a SchoolConnectaz.org event Sat. Aug 4 at Grand Canyon University. Linda Corderman had the stage in front of 700 principals, teachers, PTO, educators to explain how to partner with the Historical League and Tastes & Treasures II. Leslie Christiansen, Ruth McLeod, Linda and Stacey Trepanier (NHDAZ.org) handed out granola samples. Recipe from page 150 of the book. Thanks to Leslie, Cathy Shumard and Bonnie Newhoff for making the granola. Linda Corderman and Ruth helped with packaging the 300 samples. So many people interested in AZ history, restaurants, resorts, heritage and food stories!
The 700 educators at SchoolConnectaz.org loved the granola samples and it was a great opportunity to share benefits of partnering with Tastes & Treasures II. Stacey Trepanier, NHDAZ director and teacher, even uses the book for lesson plans. Funds raised from book sales go to educational programs including National History Day supporting students and teachers. Every student should have the opportunity to compete at finals in Wash. D.C.
