There are so many tributes to this wonderful man. His good works continue after his passing. The Arizona Republic writes, “Though Joe Garagiola was known around the world for his decades as a baseball announcer, he was much more. Through stints as a ballplayer, TV host and author, he endeared himself to millions. In his later years, he became a part of the community fabric in the Valley.”
